Summary

The Director of Revenue Growth is the first addition to the newly formed Sales division at the Stress & Resilience Institute. This person will be responsible for developing, managing and closing business while also controlling a newly developed and implemented sales process. This could be an excellent opportunity for someone looking to return to the workforce who has a strong consultative sales background along with the desire to work in a change environment. The CEO is on a journey to help organizations, their teams and leaders proactively create cultures that promote resilience and prevent burnout. She is looking for the right colleague to collaborate with and grow this mission driven organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to establish and manage executive level customer relationships
  • Align overall corporate solution to the customers’ needs and challenges
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: writing, editing and presenting
  • Articulate and promote the vision and positioning of both the company and the portfolio
  • Ability to handle multiple sales cycles simultaneously
  • Work with CEO in expanding portfolio based off the needs discovered in the workplace
  • Ability to work independently but also able to take guidance from leadership
  • Utilize CRM for pipeline management and reporting against goals and defined expectations
  • Catapult SRI’s successes into new industries/verticals
  • Educate customers and prospects on industry best practices and drive improved awareness and adoption of SRI’s full suite of products and services

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales/business development history
  • Consultative sales experience dealing with director and up level
  • Proven track record closing new business
  • Good executive presence, communication skills and credibility
  • Takes accountability for their actions, progress and results
  • Understands, believes and practices SRI’s core values of Kindness, Generosity, Curiosity, Courage & Discipline
  • Self starter who has the desire to work for a mission driven company which influences positive change for its partners
  • Experience in HR sales vertical, learning technology or educational programs a bonus but not a must

Compensation:

  • Compensation is aligned with experience, we believe in success this is a six figure position within 12 months.
  • Position is remote
  • Travel as necessary for sales and training (less than 10% anticipated)

I am the Founder and CEO of the Stress & Resilience Institute and a globally recognized thought leader and expert in workplace resilience and burnout prevention.

I left my law practice after seven years and earned a master’s degree in applied positive psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. As part of my post-graduate training, I was selected to be part of the University of Pennsylvania faculty teaching and training resilience skills to soldiers as part of the Army’s Comprehensive Soldier and Family Fitness program. The Penn team trained resilience skills to more than 40,000 soldiers and their family members.
